The length of service includes all periods of work for which the employer has accrued insurance premiums to the relevant funds. Write down, using the work book of a specialist or labor contracts (other agreements, contracts), the dates of admission and dismissal from one or another company. In other words, write the date, month, year of the periods of employment in organizations.

Step 2

Using the calendar, highlight the total number of days for each period of employment. If only a month is written in the contract or work book, take the 15th day of this month into account. When only the year is indicated in the supporting document, and the day, month are not entered, then accept the first of July.

Step 3

Sum up the calendar days between each other for all periods of the employee's work. The result is the total number of days of work of the employee.

Step 4

Highlight the full years in the received amount. It is recommended to take 360 calendar days for them.

Step 5

Determine the number of full months of insurance experience. They should be taken for 30 calendar days.

Step 6

Thus, you get the period of insurance experience for all periods of the specialist's labor activity. It should look, for example, like this: "15 years 3 months and 14 days."

If you are determining the length of service for calculating sick leave benefits, then work in your company should be included from the moment the employee was hired until the actual date of calculating the length of service.

Currently, there is a cumulative experience system. For an employee who has a confirmed labor activity before 01.01.2002, include the periods of his training in an educational institution, caring for a child up to three years old, caring for a disabled child up to 14 years old, and other cases that are regulated by law. For the period of work of an employee after 2001-31-12, calculate the length of service based on the norms prescribed in federal law No. 255.
