Step 1
Personalized accounting began operating in 1996. From this year, all insurance contributions paid to the Pension Fund are fixed, so there is no need to confirm the length of service in case of loss of documents. The territorial branch of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation has all the information for each period of work, if the employer deducted pension contributions from the insured person's salary.
Step 2
If the work book is lost and you need to confirm the work experience before 1996, you will have to file a claim with the court. In addition to the statement, attach documentary evidence to prove that you worked in a particular enterprise during a certain period of time.
Step 3
It is possible to prove the length of service with certificates from the archive, which the Pension Fund accepts for consideration, but if the archive data has not been preserved due to fire, floods, other natural disasters or due to careless storage of documents, it is simply impossible to obtain certificates that confirm the length of service.
Step 4
When concluding an employment contract, the employee retains the second copy. If you have kept your copy, this will be strong evidence to confirm the period of work at a particular enterprise. In addition, you can submit any documentary evidence that in one way or another will confirm your work activity. These can be bank documents confirming the transfer of wages, extracts from orders, membership books, agreements, characteristics, payroll statements, union cards.
Step 5
Military service, caring for disabled children, for close relatives who are disabled of group 1, and for elderly parents up to 80 years old are also included in the length of service when calculating pensions. To confirm the passage of military service, get a certificate from the military commissariat. To confirm the length of service in caring for these persons, present a medical certificate of the medical institution.
Step 6
The court takes into account the testimony of witnesses who can confirm the periods of work. Invite two or more co-workers to the court who are willing to testify about your work in a particular enterprise at a certain time.
Step 7
On the basis of a court order, the territorial branch of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation will credit the entire confirmed work experience.
