Every employee will one day become a pensioner. The size of the future pension depends not only on the amount of earnings in past years, but also on the insurance record - the total duration of the periods of work. The most reliable source for calculating seniority is a work book. It happens that it is lost or records are poorly read in it due to damage. How to confirm the experience?
Instructions
Step 1
If you have lost or damaged your work book, contact your employer at your last place of work. He must prepare a duplicate. If the work book is simply damaged (torn, damaged by fire, water), you only need to rewrite all records from the damaged version to the pages of the new form.
Step 2
If you have lost your document, you will have to contact all previous employers. It is easier to do this at the place of residence. In other areas where we worked before, it will be necessary to apply with written requests to the relevant organizations and management bodies.
Step 3
To confirm the length of service, the following documents can be presented: - employment contracts; - certificates from places of work; - certificates of state or municipal archives; - extracts (copies of extracts) from orders (hiring, dismissal); - personal accounts, statements (issuing salaries); - the decision of the courts on the establishment of seniority.
Step 4
If there was a massive loss of work books due to extraordinary circumstances (for example, natural fires in recent years), special rules apply to the procedure for restoring the length of service. So, according to the letter of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia N 12-3 / 10 / 2-6752 dated August 6, 2010, the fact of work at a particular enterprise is confirmed by a special commission, which is created by the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
Step 5
The commission includes representatives of the employer, members of trade unions, and other interested persons. In this case, various certificates, trade union documents, pay books, testimonies are used. In case of witness testimony, the attendance (written evidence) of at least two people-colleagues at work is required. They must confirm the fact of their colleague's work experience in court (this rule also applies in other cases).
Step 6
The members of the commission collect information for entries that will be recorded in the updated work book: about the periods of work, positions. They issue a corresponding act. Having received this document, the employer draws up a duplicate of the work book on its basis. The creation of the second version of the work book essentially coincides with the rules for drawing up the primary document.
