Preferential length of service makes it possible to receive an early retirement pension, as well as preferential pension benefits. Preferential work experience is given to citizens who work in difficult and harmful working conditions, for example, in coal mines, medical workers, teachers.
Instructions
Step 1
The calculation of preferential length of service is legislatively enshrined in the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 11, 2002 No. 516 "On the approval of the rules for calculating periods of work, which gives the right to early assignment of an old-age retirement pension in accordance with Articles 27 and 28 of the Federal Law" On Labor Pensions in the Russian Federation " … According to the Resolution, periods of vacation (both basic and additional), as well as periods of temporary disability of a citizen, are included in the preferential experience. Administrative leave is not included in the preferential length of service.
Step 2
In order to determine whether you are entitled to a preferential pension or not, open the Federal Law "On Labor Pensions in the Russian Federation" and find there an item characterizing your activity, which will indicate how many calendar years you had to work in these conditions in order to be able to retire early.
Step 3
Please note that if you have worked in multiple early retirement jobs, these periods of work may be cumulative. To do this, according to the ordinal list prescribed in the Rules for calculating periods of work, which gives the right to early assignment of a retirement pension, determine whether the periods of your work are summed up.
Step 4
Make sure that during your work you did not have periods when you worked part-time or part-time - in this case, preferential length of service can only be calculated from archive records, since it is calculated not in a calendar order, but in actual hours worked.
Step 5
When calculating your preferential length of service, do not forget to take into account the time between shifts when working on a rotational basis, the test period when hiring and periods of vocational training or retraining, as well as the fact that each year of underground work is counted for 1 year and 3 months, and each a year of work in especially difficult conditions provided for by a special List - for 9 months.
Step 6
In order to find out your preferential work experience for sure, contact the Pension Fund at your place of residence. Be sure to submit to the Pension Fund such documents as a pension insurance certificate, a passport, a work book, certificates of organizations where you worked or archival certificates, a military ID, after which they will help you to clarify and take into account all periods of work, including work in difficult and harmful for health conditions.
