Every working person has thought about his future pension at least once in his life. But if this date is just around the corner, then it is worth collecting all the documents in advance so as not to overshadow this event by running around the offices.
Necessary
- Law of the Russian Federation No. 173-ФЗ dated 17.12.01. "On labor pensions in the Russian Federation"
- Resolution of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation No. 16, PF RF No. 19pa dated 27.02.02. "List of documents for registration of a pension"
Instructions
Step 1
To apply for a pension, you need to know the list of documents and certificates. Regardless of whether you work or not, go to the Pension Fund at the place of registration, or look at the Law of the Russian Federation No. 173-FZ "On labor pensions in the Russian Federation". The law clearly defines the types of pensions, conditions for retirement, documents, procedure for recalculation, etc. Start collecting these documents.
Step 2
If you are a working person, go to your HR department and your organization's payroll accountant. They will give you certificates of your seniority and salary for a certain period. If you are applying for a preferential pension, the necessary documents must be submitted at any time after the onset of the right to such a pension, but no later than the retirement age (for women - 55 years, for men - 60 years).
Step 3
Next, with these documents, go to the Pension Fund department. Experts will check the provided documents. Perhaps there will be errors in the design, the absence of some details in the certificates, etc.
Step 4
In the absence of information about earnings for a certain period favorable for you, for example, due to the liquidation of the enterprise in which you previously worked, they will also help you there. You often have to pick up archives.
Step 5
If the check revealed shortcomings, redo the incorrectly completed documents, collect the missing ones, make copies and again submit the entire set of documents for consideration by the Pension Fund. That's all.
Step 6
If you intend to continue working after retirement, be aware that the pension is recalculated for working pensioners every year. The amount of recalculation depends on your earnings, which will be submitted to the Pension Fund by your company's accountant. Since 2009 recalculation occurs automatically without a pensioner submitting an application.
