The duty of a manager at any enterprise is to draw up a description of a student who has undergone industrial practice here. Often, an educational institution provides a characterization form, or dictates to the student what exactly should be indicated in the document. However, sometimes the shape and size of the production characteristic is entirely at the discretion of the practice manager. Nevertheless, there are a set of certain rules for writing such a conclusion, and it is better to adhere to them.
Instructions
For characterization, use the official form of the company with details, address and contact numbers. Also, the name of the director and, preferably, his facsimile must be indicated on the sheet.
Write the description in dry business language according to the standard scheme. In the first paragraph, indicate how long the intern has been at your facility. In the second paragraph, devote a short description of your plant or company, indicating the state, product, audience, or market.
In the third paragraph, briefly outline what exactly the trainee entrusted to you did and with what success. In conclusion, give a brief description of it: note the initiative, diligence. If during the practice the student has been awarded any distinctions, even if verbal praise from the superiors, mention this.
Be sure to put your data on the characteristic: name, position, handwritten signature, contact phone number.
Note:
It is customary to put the stamp of the enterprise on the characteristic and certify the document with the director.
Helpful hints:
Sometimes, at the end of the description, the head of the practice writes an assessment that he would recommend to put to the student in the educational institution.
