Step 1
Submit your application for deregistration to the Federal Migration Service or to the housing office (this will depend on your place of residence). By the way, the application itself can be either handwritten or submitted electronically. In addition, provide your passport, which will be stamped accordingly. It will not take long to wait for the finished documents: you will receive them in three days.
Step 2
Along with all the documents, you will also receive a departure sheet. In no case do not lose it, you will need it when registering a new registration. However, if the sheet is still lost, when registering at the new place of residence, notify this in writing. But do not worry, his absence cannot serve as a reason to refuse to accept your application.
Step 3
You can do it differently: after you move to a new place of residence, submit two applications at the same time. In one of them there will be information about registration at a different address, and in the second, on the contrary, about deregistration. Send the second paper to the territorial office of the migration service located at the old address. And two stamps will appear in your passport at once: on the registration order, and on the discharge from the previous housing.
