How to calculate the insurance experience for sick leaves

It is necessary

  • - Federal Law of December 29, 2006 No. 255-FZ;
  • - Order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation of February 6, 2007 No. 91;
  • - leaflet for temporary incapacity for work;
  • - Employee's work book;
  • - calculator.

Instructions

Step 1

To determine the length of service, take the data on the employee's work periods from his work record book. In the absence of an entry in the work book, take into account written employment contracts that are drawn up in accordance with labor legislation, personal accounts, extracts from orders and a payroll. In the insurance experience, include the periods of military and other service.

Step 2

Contributions to the social insurance fund of the Russian Federation are not paid from the benefits accrued to employees under civil contracts. Therefore, the periods of such work are not included in the insurance experience.

Step 3

Calculate the working time in a calendar order based on the provision that a full month is 30 days, and a full year is 12 months. Translate every 30 days into a whole month, and every 12 months translate into a whole year. If the document on the periods of work contains only years without specifying exact dates, take July 1 of the corresponding year as the date, and if the day of the month is not written, then take the 15th day of the corresponding month for the calculation.

Step 4

If the employee's work experience is 8 years or more, the allowance is paid at 100 percent of the average earnings. With work experience from 5 to 8 years inclusive, an allowance in the amount of 80% of the average earnings is payable. When an employee's insurance experience is from six months to 5 years, an allowance is paid in the amount of 60% of the average earnings. If the employee's experience is less than six months, then the calculation of the benefit is based on the minimum wage (minimum wage) for a full calendar month.
