Step 1

To set the dates for the New Year holidays for employees of any organization in accordance with Article 112 of the Labor Code, you can issue an order in free form. The order indicates the duration of the holidays and the date of the team's exit to work. If a day off coincided with one of the holidays, then the legal day off is transferred to the next working day after the holiday. Please note: if an employee is on an official salary, the presence of holidays in the month does not affect the amount of his salary.

Step 2

Check out the latest regulations of the Government of the Russian Federation. In the event that the Government of the Russian Federation transfers holidays to other working days, a normative act is issued no later than 2 months before the date of the new day off.

Step 3

Remember that it is prohibited to attract employees to work, with the exception of cases stipulated in article 113 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Such cases may include emergencies, accidents, martial law. However, the employer can issue an order according to which the employee can work on holidays, if there is his consent and the consent of the trade union committee.

Step 4

Issue an order, familiarize the employee and the trade union committee with it. In the 2nd paragraph of the text of the order, be sure to instruct the accounting department to charge this employee with double wages for these days. In the 3rd paragraph of the order, give an order to familiarize yourself with the order of the employee and the trade union committee. The order is usually issued in 3 copies on the order form of the organization, no later than a month before this date.

Step 5

If your organization has a shift work schedule, then on holidays, non-working days, employees must go to work if their shift coincides with a holiday.

Step 6

When the timekeeper takes into account working days in January, a note "B" is put against the holidays only if all employees have a rest from January 1 to January 10 inclusive.
