Part-time work is one of the forms of labor relations. Employers often face difficulties if a part-time employee wants or needs to be transferred to a permanent job. This situation is not specified in labor law.

Necessary

  • - labor legislation;
  • - employee documents;
  • - documents of the enterprise;
  • - seals of organizations.

Instructions

Step 1

There are no clear explanations in the laws regarding the transfer of an employee from a part-time position to a permanent one. If the part-time job is external, the employee must quit at the place of his main job. Only in this case, the management of another company, where he combined the position, has the right to issue it full-time. With internal part-time work (in one company), the transfer of an employee from one position to another is already drawn up.

Step 2

Tell an employee who wants to go through the procedure for applying for a permanent job in the current company to draw up an application, addressing it to the director of the company. In the application, you need to explain the request for transfer to the main position, securing it with a signature.

Step 3

After the manager familiarizes himself with the employee's application, an agreement is drawn up with the applicant to amend the employment contract. It specifies the position received, the work schedule and the salary that will be paid to the employee in full.

Step 4

As soon as the agreement is signed by the employee and the employer, you need to start drawing up an order in the form of T-8 indicating the fact of transferring a part-time job to a permanent job. The document contains the personal data of the employee, and it is certified by the signature of the head and the seal of the organization. Make an entry in the employee's work book. Reflect the fact of termination of part-time work and employment for a position on a long-term basis.

Step 5

If the employee worked on an external part-time job, he must provide the employer with supporting documents of dismissal from the place of his main job and a work book with a corresponding entry. Also, the applicant must have no claims to the previous employer about all payments due in connection with the dismissal.
