The employer has the right to hire an intern. This is regulated by labor laws. The conclusion of a contract with an employee-trainee is mandatory. But there are a number of design features, since depending on the agreement, a fixed-term contract, apprenticeship or labor, together with an apprenticeship contract, can be drawn up.

Step 1

Any employee, including a specialist trainee, writes an application for admission to the position. This is a mandatory document when registering an employment relationship with an employer. The application is signed by the employee (indicating the date of drawing up). The content of the document depends on what kind of agreement takes place: registration by an intern or a student. Also, a period is prescribed that corresponds to the start and end date of the practice. The director accepts the application and signs it in accordance with the rules of office work.

Step 2

After signing the trainee's (student's) application, conclude a contract. If a decision is made to draw up a fixed-term contract, then indicate the terms of its validity. When the agreement involves the conclusion of a student agreement, study chapter 32 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Be careful not to violate the student's rights.

Step 3

Legislation allows you to draw up an employment contract together with an apprenticeship one. In this case, it implies the continuation of work in the same position, that is, in the future you will hire an employee on a general basis.

Step 4

Set the salary of the trainee (student) in accordance with the salary prescribed in the staffing table, if the position is in the document. You have the right to enter a staff unit, then the salary is set in agreement with the employee. Please note that the trainee is eligible to perform duties on a shorter work week. Write it down in the contract.

Step 5

Draw up an order if you accepted an employee-trainee on a fixed-term contract or labor together with an apprentice. Draw up a referral for student training, if a student contract is concluded.

Step 6

When concluding an apprenticeship contract, an entry in the work book is not made. When drawing up a fixed-term contract, the entry looks, for example, as follows: "Accepted for the position of trainee-assistant manager." When a trainee employee is dismissed, an entry is made on the basis of an order that is drawn up upon the expiration of the contract.
