In July 2012, a new function appeared in the 2GIS program, thanks to which users were able to buy cinema tickets without wasting time visiting the cinema itself before the show.
Since the 2GIS program is supported on many devices, owners of computers, tablets, communicators with Internet access will be able to buy cinema tickets. Payment is made through the Rambler-Kassa service, so you should make sure in advance that you will be able to deposit the required amount. Money can be withdrawn from a credit card, "QIWI wallet", "Yandex. Money", as well as transfer the required amount by sending a paid SMS message, the cost of which will correspond to the cost of the ticket.
To purchase a ticket to the cinema, download 2GIS, find the cinema you are interested in on the map and make sure that there is a Rambler-Cashier button in the object card. At the time of the start of the functionality, buying tickets via the Internet was possible for only 108 cinemas in 23 cities of Russia, but over time, their number should increase. By clicking on the button, you will see the schedule of sessions and you will be able to choose the one that interests you. Next, you will see the plan of the hall, on which the free seats will be marked. Choose the ones you like. If you are planning to go to the cinema with relatives, friends, or your significant other, buy several tickets at once. You can book no more than five pieces at a time.
After choosing the most suitable payment option for you, transfer the money for the ticket. You will then be asked to indicate if you have the option to print your ticket immediately. If this is not possible, an SMS message with a QR code will be sent to your specified mobile phone number. Another option is to send the code to your email address. Then you will need to print the ticket using a special terminal, or by contacting the cinema administrator for help. It is on the received printout that you will be able to go to the hall to watch the film.
