Most of the companies strive to sell their goods at better prices. However, not everyone succeeds, not everyone knows how to get a customer to purchase a product or service. Possession of such knowledge gives an undeniable advantage in the struggle for successful business development.
Instructions
Step 1
Make it clear to the client why he needs your product. A person will not buy a thing if he does not know what to do with it. People make even the most useless purchases with a clear understanding of its necessity. Tell or show the customer what they will buy if they make a purchase. Advertising works best with this task. It is in the commercials that potential buyers are provided with information about the significance and purpose of the goods being promoted. If we are talking about a service, then presentations, master classes and other types of visual transfer of the practical value of the product are used.
Step 2
Give the customer a “feel” for the product you offer. Human psychology works in such a way that if he picks up something, he is less willing to part with it. Especially when it comes to a product with a unique design. The same goes for services. Give the client the opportunity to take advantage of your offer, and he will not be able to refuse further cooperation with you. Of course, this rule does not always work, but you should not forget about it.
Step 3
Demonstrate to the client the possible outcome of events if he refuses to purchase your product. This does not mean that a potential consumer needs to be intimidated, etc. Tell him how his competitor can take advantage of your offer or what he will lose if he makes the wrong choice. The same goes for general consumer goods.
Step 4
Make the buying process simple and fast. Today it is rare to find people who want to spend their precious time on the lengthy procedure for making a purchase for something. Of course, this does not apply to buying real estate, cars, etc. However, if you sell food or clothing, try to organize the space in such a way that the buyer spends a minimum amount of time searching and purchasing the product.
Step 5
Engage potential buyers with pleasant scents and music. Experts say that people are happy to buy bread from the store that sprayed the special aromas of freshly baked bread, even if the store never had a bakery. As for music, it should be noted that a slow and relaxing melody will make the customer spend longer in your store. Conversely, fast and rhythmic music will shorten the time a client spends in your office, salon or store.
