According to Russian legislation, namely article 114 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, employees must be provided with annual paid leave of at least 28 days. As a rule, the total number of vacation days can be broken down into parts, but only if one of them is not less than 14 days.

Instructions

Step 1

To calculate the number of days of vacation due, calculate the period for which the employer must provide vacation. To do this, you can use the timesheet.

Step 2

Add up all the days in the month that the employee was actually present at the workplace or was absent for a good reason. In the event that the number of days in a month is more than 15 days, then this period is included in the experience, and if less, it is excluded.

Step 3

Determine the amount of payments for this period. To do this, use the payrolls or open the account 70 card. Remember that the total should exclude material benefits, sick leave payments or payment of child care benefits.

Step 4

Count the number of vacation days you are entitled to. As a rule, for this they take the number 2, 33 (you can get it by dividing the total prescribed vacation days by one calendar year: 28 days / 12 months = 2, 33 days). Multiply this number by the number of months worked. For example, an employee has worked for 8 months. During this period, he is entitled to: 2, 33 * 8 months = 18, 4 days. Rosstrud allows this number to be rounded up. Thus, the employee is entitled to 19 days of vacation.

Step 5

In the event that the employee previously used part of the vacation (in advance), then subtract this amount from the total number of days of rest. Unpaid leave is not included in the calculation of basic annual paid leave.

Step 6

If you need to calculate the amount of vacation pay, calculate the amount of the employee's average earnings. To do this, divide the sum of all payments by the number of months in the experience and by 29.4 (the average number of days in a month).

Step 7

Pay the employee vacation pay in full three days before it starts. Fill out this transaction with a payroll and post it in accounting.
