Step 1
Get the incorporation documents of the company. Copies of statutory documents can be requested from a party when concluding an agreement. The first section of the charter, containing basic information, contains the full name and organizational form of the legal entity.
Step 2
Get an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE). The responsible service for maintaining the Unified State Register of Legal Entities is the Federal Tax Service of Russia. The information is open and publicly available. Any individual can receive an extract upon presentation of a passport and payment of a state duty of 400 rubles. In the extract, in general information, the full name and organizational and legal form will be indicated.
Step 3
Get information on the official website of the tax office. Website address www.nalog.ru. Go to the "Check yourself and your counterparty" section. In it, indicate the available data: the name of the company, TIN, the region in which it operates. For example, "Russian Forest", Moscow region. A list of organizations with the same name registered in the register will be issued, including the form indicated (LLC, CJSC, OJSC). LLC - a limited liability company, CJSC - a closed joint stock company, ANO - an autonomous non-profit organization
Step 4
Define the type of company depending on the abbreviation before the name of the company. As a rule, the name indicates - LLC, CJSC, OJSC. There is no difficulty with conventional abbreviations. However, there are less common ones, such as: peasant farms, autonomous non-profit organizations, mutual funds, etc. All types of organizations, depending on their organizational form, have been assigned a code - OKOPF. In Appendix No. 1 to the All-Russian Classifier 028-99, all types of organizational and legal forms of persons operating on the territory of the Russian Federation are listed in alphabetical order.
