The employer has the right to exclude a position or structural unit from the staffing table only in case of staff reduction. To do this, an order should be issued to amend the current staffing table, remove the position from it, and then approve the new document with the director's signature.

Step 1
The exclusion of a position from the staffing table is possible in the event of special conditions (crisis, change in technological, organizational working conditions of employees, etc.). When carrying out measures to reduce personnel, it should be borne in mind that the employee whose position is to be expelled should be notified two months before the entry into force of the order on amending the staffing table.
Step 2
Draw up an order. In its heading, indicate the name of the organization in accordance with the articles of association or other constituent document of the company. The order must contain the number and date of its publication, the date of changes to the staffing table, the name of the city where the enterprise is located. Write the topic of the document, in this case it will correspond to changes in the staffing table. Write down the reason for the order, which may be for downsizing activities. In the administrative part, indicate the name of the position that should be excluded from the staffing table. Responsibility for the execution of the order must be assigned to the personnel officer. Certify the document.
Step 3
In the current staffing table, exclude the position to be cut. In the document, it is allowed to expand / shift the margins, increasing / decreasing their size. You cannot delete codes of positions, structural divisions.
Step 4
Issue an order on the implementation of measures to reduce staff. In it, you should indicate not only the title of the position that is excluded from the staffing table, but also the personal data of the employee who works on it. Certify the order with the signature of the director of the organization. Familiarize yourself with the document of the specialist whose position should be reduced.
Step 5
Two months before such events, write to the employee who falls under the reduction, a notification in two copies. He must sign one copy, put a date on it and give it to the employer, and keep the second one.
