The Fire Safety Declaration is one of the innovations in Russian laws. This is a collection of several documents that are drawn up annually by each enterprise as confirmation of its compliance with all fire safety standards. To draw up a declaration of fire safety, you need to be guided by the order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia No. 91 dated February 24, 2009.

The fire declaration is intended to assess the fire hazard of an object, its fire protection system and ensure compliance with fire regulations. In order to draw up a fire safety declaration, it is necessary to appoint a person responsible for this, making sure that the employee has a good understanding of the laws of the Russian Federation on compliance with all fire safety standards. In addition, you can entrust the preparation of the declaration to a specialized company licensed to provide the relevant services. The documentation should be drawn up in duplicate, it must be signed by the head of the company, after which the declaration is sent for consideration to the territorial department of the Ministry of Emergencies.

When drawing up a fire safety declaration, indicate the following information: registration number and the date of its assignment; the name of the object and its function; name and position of the originator of the document; full address of the institution.

Include the following sections in the fire safety declaration: a description of the institution; the level of fire resistance and the size of the building, the year of its commencement of operation; design features; detailed floor plans; premises drawings; information about emergency exits from the building; information on the number of people staying in the building, both as a whole and separately by premises; information about fire protection systems in the building; data on the number of items used in the premises; data on the presence of flammable materials in the building and their location; information about smoke detectors. Attach documents on insurance of the object and persons in it.
