Writing a resume is not a problem for a person who values himself a little: it is always nice to talk about your merits and achievements. To prevent your merit list from becoming a chaotic narrative, make a clear outline of your resume.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, you need to write your last name, first name and patronymic. They appear at the top of the page and are in boldface.

Step 2

Immediately after that, provide a place for contact information - on separate lines, write the contact phone number, e-mail address, if you think necessary or the employer requires it, add your home address.

Step 3

Provide information about your education. Write the years of study, the name of the secondary or higher education institution, and the specialty received.

Step 4

Then you need to describe your work experience. In reverse chronological order, list all the jobs that are in the field of work in which you wish to work again. It is better not to mention those organizations and professions that do not reveal you as a specialist in the area you are looking for in a new place. After naming the years of work and the name of the organization, write what position you held and what your professional responsibilities were. Mention your achievements in this place, about your treasure in the development of the company. In this case, it is better to name specific facts and figures - this way your merits will be more obvious.

Step 5

Write about your additional skills. Here you can list knowledge of foreign languages (name the level of language proficiency according to the generally accepted international scale), the level of computer skills (indicate the degree of your mastery and specific programs in which you understand). Here you can also say about additional education, various courses and advanced training programs.

Step 6

Finally, briefly describe your personality traits. Only those traits that are important for the position you are applying for should be listed. Do not exaggerate your merits, but do not resort to excessive modesty. List five or seven really significant qualities that you actually possess.

Step 7

Some democratic companies looking for creative employees allow for a more flexible resume form. Be careful when drafting it - do not abuse the opportunity to joke and be original. To be on the safe side, in such cases, you can provide the employer with two resume options - traditional and creative.
