When making additions to the job description, one must be guided by the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and other federal laws. The procedure for changing the text of the local act depends on whether the position is free, that is, vacant, or the employee is already working in the position. In the first case, the consent of a specialist is not required, and in the second, it is mandatory.

When making additions to the instructions for a position that is vacant, the changes are made out by order of the director. First, the head of the department in whose subordination the position is, draws up a new edition of the local act. The new job description is approved by the approval visa on the document, as well as by the order of the director. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the amended act of the head of the trade union, if there is one in the company. Take into account the opinion of the elected body of the trade union organization, since the rights of workers should not be violated in terms of working conditions.
Make an order. As a topic, write the additions to the job description, for example, an accountant. Specify the reason for issuing the order, for example, a change in the employee's job function. In the substantive part of the document, enter the data of the employee who is responsible for the execution of the order. As a rule, this is the head of the personnel department. Certify the order with the director's signature.
Before making additions to the instructions for the position in which the employee works, it is necessary to obtain the written consent of a specialist. Write a notice addressed to the employee. In the document, write down the responsibilities that supplement the local act. On one copy of the notification, the employee signs, the date, the second remains with the specialist.
Now draw up a supplementary agreement to the contract. Write in it a list of responsibilities that supplement the instruction. Certify the agreement with the signature of the employee, director, and the seal of the company.
After drawing up the new edition of the instructions, familiarize the specialist with it against receipt. Now issue an order to amend the job description. Certify the local act with a visa affixed by the director. The order is signed by the head of the organization. Familiarize the employee with the order.
