The conclusion of the transaction can be confirmed by verbal agreement of the parties. As in the last century, when the word "merchant" was stronger than any written commitment. Now the most common written form, since only documents today have real value and are accepted by the court for proceedings in the event of disputes. But situations are not uncommon when the customer requires the fulfillment of obligations under the promise of payment. And here the contractor must protect his interests and require documentary confirmation of intentions, that is, the conclusion of a contract.

Instructions

Step 1

To begin with, prepare the text of the agreement, which, according to the rules for processing business papers, will indicate: - the number of the agreement, the date and place of its preparation;

- details of the parties (customer and contractor) in full;

- persons authorized to sign the agreement (representatives of the parties);

- a list of works or services, their volume and cost (within the framework of the transaction);

- conditions for the provision of services or performance of work;

- settlement procedure;

- the responsibilities of each of the parties to ensure the implementation of the agreement;

- responsibility of the parties;

- the procedure for resolving controversial situations.

Step 2

Contact the customer with a proposal to study the version of the agreement prepared by you, in which all the terms of the agreement are clearly spelled out, which allows you to protect the interests of each of the parties. Give him the contract for review. Your partner may want to amend it. After agreeing on all the clauses of the contract with the customer, correct the text so that the terms of the transaction are suitable for each of the parties.

Step 3

Sign the contract with a manager or person authorized to sign this document in your organization. Put the seal of your business. Register the contract as an outbound document. Do not forget that the contract must be drawn up in duplicate. Submit them to your customer partner for signature. After signing, one copy remains with the customer, and the other with the contractor.
