Instructions
Step 1
Calculate maternity benefits based on the sick leave presented to you by a pregnant woman. For the calculation, add up all the amounts earned for the 24 months that the woman worked before going on maternity leave.
Step 2
When calculating, take into account only those amounts from which you withheld 13% income tax. Do not include temporary disability benefits, one-time and one-time payments in the total estimated amount.
Step 3
Divide the result by 730. Multiply the original figure by the number of days indicated on the sick leave. If a woman is carrying one child, then the sick leave issued by the antenatal clinic will be 140 days - during these days you are obliged to pay the average earnings.
Step 4
When carrying two more children, a sick leave is issued for 196 days. If a woman has a complicated birth, after that she will provide you with a separate sick leave issued for an additional 14 days. If multiple pregnancy is detected during childbirth, the woman will bring you a certificate of incapacity for work, issued for an additional 56 days, for calculation and payment.
Step 5
If, when calculating, the average daily amount is less than the minimum wage, which today is 4611 rubles, or a woman has a total work experience of less than 6 months, make the calculations according to the minimum wage.
Step 6
For a woman who was on parental leave and presented you with a new sick leave associated with the birth of the next child, calculate according to the average earnings for 2 years worked before the previous decree.
Step 7
Any woman has the right to receive maternity benefits from all employers for whom she worked during the billing period. For accrual, she can show you a certificate of income of the 2-NDFL form or submit a sick leave for each place of work for calculating benefits.
