Certain discounts on utility bills, landline telephone services, kindergartens and other household benefits can be obtained by representatives of certain categories of the population, namely, war and labor veterans, single mothers and parents of disabled children, persons with disabilities and others.

Step 1
Decide what benefits you would like to receive, and if you have a good reason to do so. War veterans and home front workers, honorary donors, large families, disabled people and participants in the Great Patriotic War, victims of man-made disasters, people who have suffered from political repression can spend less money on paying for housing and communal services. This is a basic list that can be supplemented in different regions of the country. Therefore, to find out. if you are eligible for benefits, you need to contact your local department of social protection of the population.
Step 2
Collect the package of documents required to receive benefits. Please note that different types of benefits may require different documents. But, as a rule, in any case, you will need a passport or other identity document, documents proving your belonging to socially unprotected segments of the population, for example, a certificate of a war and (or) labor veteran, a medical certificate of disability, an honorary badge of a mother-heroine etc.
Step 3
Contact a specialist in the department of social protection of the population. Specify what additional documents you may need to apply for benefits. Write a standard application for a request to provide you with this or that benefit (for example, to pay for utilities or telephone services). Indicate the number of your passbook or social card to which money will be transferred under the monetization program - compensation for part of your expenses.
