For the first time in my life, I was asked to write a statement of my own free will. The reason is simple. The company is unable to pay salaries to employees due to the pandemic. For several weeks I tried to find a job, sent my resume, but, unfortunately, there was no answer. Thus, I came to the conclusion that it was time to get up at the labor exchange.
In all situations, you need to look for positive aspects. Here, the plus turned out to be that you can register at the labor exchange remotely. To do this, you need a phone or computer with Internet access. The story of how I managed to do this will be described below.
April 8, 2020
First, I found the mail of the labor exchange at my place of residence. I wrote a message with the subject: "Please accept me as unemployed." If you cannot find your mail, then just call the hotline. And they will help you. The next day they sent me a list of all the required documents. And also an application that had to be filled out.
Photos or copies of documents that are needed:
- Passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. 1 page and a page with registration.
- Employment history. First page and pages with records of work for the year preceding dismissal.
- Education document.
- Certificate of average salary for the last 3 months. This is necessary to determine the unemployment benefit.
- Statement. Here we will dwell in more detail. The application must include the following data: full name, address of residence, SNILS, TIN, contact information. Education, profession, skills, work experience, conditions of the last place of work and character. Salary, work experience and additional wishes.

The long-awaited letter with the answer came to the mail. The certificate that I was given at work did not work. They asked to redo it and sent a sample of a new one. And also it was necessary to send the details of my card Sberbank, Mir or Post Bank Mir. Fortunately, I have a Sberbank card, so I had no problems. Additionally, they asked to send a photo of SNILS and TIN. I sent in a revised certificate three days later.

So far, there has been no answer. I decided to call the hotline and they said they would call me back. As a result, they wrote a letter to the post office that in the same certificate of average earnings there is an incorrect date. I quickly redid the help. And on the same day I sent it again. At the same time I asked some questions, the answers to which I received the next day.

They sent me a certificate stating that I was registered on April 19, 2020. And within a week, the first half of the allowance was transferred to me.
In general, the registration took exactly 11 days. On April 8, I applied, and on the 19th I was already listed as unemployed. No hassle, everything is fast and convenient. So, if you still have not applied to the employment center, then I advise you to do so. Since everyone who lost their jobs on March 1, the allowance is paid up to a maximum of 3 months.
