Instructions
Step 1
Go to the website www.gosuslugi.ru and click the "Register" button. You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire in which you need to enter your passport data, insurance certificate number, taxpayer number (TIN). In a few minutes, this information will be verified, and you will need to come up with and enter a password, as well as write a secret question and an answer to it. Try to come up with a complex password, consisting of letters of different case and numbers.
Step 2
You will be offered a choice of several ways to obtain an activation code for your personal account. You can choose delivery by Russian post - for this write your postal address. In two or three weeks, a letter containing the code will be sent to the mail. You can also get the code at the Rostelecom customer service center, take your passport and insurance certificate with you. If you are an individual entrepreneur, you can get the code using a special electronic signature carrier. It is issued by the certification center of the Tax Service of Russia.
Step 3
When the code is received, go to the site and click "Login". Enter the code, username and password. Now you can start drawing up your passport. To do this, click on the link "Obtaining a foreign passport" and select "Apply". You will be asked to fill out a form and take photos. Enter all the data very carefully, first read the tips for filling out the questionnaire, as they are often rejected due to incorrect registration. You need to use 14 font size, do not italicize or bold. Job information can be filled in 12 font sizes.
Step 4
Submit your questionnaire and photos. A few days later, you will receive a notification to your e-mail that the documents have been checked and sent for processing (if everything is filled out correctly). Go to the nearest branch of the bank and pay the state fee for obtaining a passport, having learned the details of your FMS in advance. After a while, an invitation to the FMS will be sent to the mail. You need to visit the local office of the migration service within 15 days, taking with you all the documents, photographs and a paid receipt.
Step 5
In the department of the Federal Migration Service, your documents will be checked and an application form for obtaining a foreign passport will be given. After filling out the form, you will be assigned a time to receive your passport - usually within a month.
