Every hunter wants to know not only where the pheasant sits, but also how to obtain a permit or license to carry and purchase weapons, including rifled ones, which are used for hunting large game.
Instructions
Step 1
The advantage of a rifled weapon is that it has significantly more power and range than a smooth-bore weapon. The latter is used for hunting birds and small animals. If the hunter decides to hunt a wild boar or even a bear, one cannot do without a carbine.
Keep in mind that to get such a powerful weapon you will have to sweat and run a lot.
Step 2
Remember that it is possible to own a rifled weapon only after five years of storage (without the right to wear, if there is no hunting ticket) of a smooth-bore hunting rifle. In other words, you need to be a hunter and keep smooth-bore weapons at home in proper conditions for 5 years. The biography of the future owner of a rifled weapon must be clean: offenses and violations of the rules for hunting and keeping weapons are excluded.
Step 3
Permits for the purchase, storage and carrying of rifled weapons are issued by a group of licensing and permitting works (GLRR) at the city ATC. To obtain a license for a hunting rifle, you need to write an application to the territorial department of the GLRR and attach the following documents: a completed application card, copies of passport pages, 2 photos 3x4cm and a medical certificate in form 046-1.
Step 4
Form 046-1 is a certificate of the ability to own and carry a weapon. In addition to the form 046-1 certificate, bring a certificate from the narcological and neuropsychiatric dispensaries.
Step 5
Please also attach a receipt for payment of the state fee, the original and a copy of a valid hunting ticket. In some cases, it is required to attach a certificate from the head of the society of hunters and a description of the application. The last document contains information about passing the knowledge test and passing the hunting minimum.
Step 6
It is necessary to stock up on a certificate from a district authorized police officer, which will assess the conditions of home storage of weapons: the thickness of the walls of the safe, the attitude of family members to weapons in the house, etc.
Step 7
After reviewing the documents, you will be issued a permit card for one weapon. The card is valid for 6 months, during which time you need to buy a weapon. The unused card must be returned to the GLRR.
An application for a license to purchase a rifled weapon is considered for at least 30 days.
Step 8
When buying a weapon, two license stubs remain in the gun store, take the third stub to the GLRR, after which the acquired weapon will be registered. This procedure usually takes 7-10 days.
