Step 1
Get a safe, the size of the weapon, and make a margin in width, the appetite, as you know, comes with eating. This should be done taking into account the place where it will be located in the apartment. The safe should have a separate, lockable box for storing ammunition. It is better to buy a safe not in a hunting store (there they are somewhat more expensive), but in firms that specialize in the sale of safes, there is a large selection for every taste.
Step 2
Get a medical certificate. This can be done at the place of residence in the district clinic or any other medical institution, with a license for this type of activity. This type of certificate is paid. Moreover, if you are serving in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Ministry of Defense, then instead of medical documents, submit a certificate from personnel departments that you really do this service and you are assigned a service weapon.
Step 3
Pay the state fee. Bank details can be found in the Licensing and Permitting Department.
Step 4
Submit a package of documents to the Licensing and Permitting Department:
• application card, • passport and a photocopy of the passport, • two black-and-white matte photographs, 3x4 in size, • medical certificate.
The application must be considered 10 days, after this period, the department employees will either accept it for consideration, or you must receive a written refusal.
Step 5
In case of a positive decision on your application, you will have to pass an exam on knowledge of the rules for the use, carrying and storage of weapons.
Step 6
If you failed the exam, you will have to take it again, in a month, if you passed the exam in a period of 30 days to six months, you must obtain a license.
Step 7
After making a purchase of a weapon, you must register it in the Licensing and Permitting Department at the ATS within two weeks within two weeks.
Step 8
The license is valid for 5 years, three months before its expiration date, you must renew its validity in the above order.
