Step 1

Submit a package of documents to the Licensing and Permitting Department:

• application card, • passport and a photocopy of the passport, • two black-and-white matte photographs, 3x4 in size, • medical certificate.

The application must be considered 10 days, after this period, the department employees will either accept it for consideration, or you must receive a written refusal.

Step 5

In case of a positive decision on your application, you will have to pass an exam on knowledge of the rules for the use, carrying and storage of weapons.

Step 6

If you failed the exam, you will have to take it again, in a month, if you passed the exam in a period of 30 days to six months, you must obtain a license.

Step 7

After making a purchase of a weapon, you must register it in the Licensing and Permitting Department at the ATS within two weeks within two weeks.

Step 8

The license is valid for 5 years, three months before its expiration date, you must renew its validity in the above order.
