Land is not only a natural resource and means of agricultural production, but also the basis for life. Land ownership is the most common type of land title.

Step 1
When registering land ownership, you need to decide on what grounds you will acquire a land plot. If you are the owner of a property registered earlier than July 1990, you will receive the land for free. In other cases, you will have to redeem the land plot at its cadastral value.
Step 2
Apply to the district administration for land privatization. Attach to your application a cadastral passport of the land plot, as well as a technical passport for real estate and a certificate of ownership. Conclude a sale and purchase agreement (gratuitous transfer) for land and register it with the Federal Registration Service. Receive a certificate in 2 weeks.
Step 3
If you want to register land ownership for running a personal or suburban subsidiary farm, then you need to apply to the district administration for the provision of a plot. In your application, indicate the size and location of the site, as well as the purpose of use. In a month, you will receive an answer from the administration about the granting of the property to the property free of charge, or for a fee. At the next stage, contact the Federal Registration Service to obtain a certificate with a decision on the provision of a land plot and a concluded contract.
Step 4
To acquire land ownership for construction, you need to apply for participation in the auction (auction or competition), which is conducted by the local administration, for the provision of land plots for construction. If you win the bidding, you must sign the minutes of the bidding results and the purchase and sale agreement. After that, submit these documents to the Federal Registration Service.
Step 5
You can also purchase land in ownership in the following options: purchase, receipt under a gift agreement or under an exchange agreement from organizations or citizens.
