This “rejection letter” may use the phrase that the recipient may be considered by the company in the future. Everyone understands that she does not commit to anything and basically does not mean anything, this is not more than a tribute to politeness.

However, it may be different. Even when the choice is made, there is no complete confidence that the chosen applicant will take root in the company. In this case, everyone who is professionally engaged in the selection of personnel keeps a reserve of other applicants at hand. And the phrase it can mean that the eliminated candidate is included there.

But even this does not guarantee anything.
