Step 1
When registering a part-time employee, remember that he is drawn up according to two documents: a staffing table and an employment contract. Moreover, in the first case, the employee must be hired at a full time with a salary determined at this rate, and in the employment contract it is necessary to indicate that the employee is hired on certain conditions (indicate which), but he will receive wages based on the number of hours worked. This situation is described in Article 285 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

Also, in the employment contract, it is necessary to indicate the exact schedule of work, both in hours and in days. There is another option, how you can arrange a part-time employee. To do this, you hire him as a regular full-time staff unit with an appropriate salary. In the order for admission, indicate the same numbers. And then you conclude an additional agreement to the employment contract, in which you prescribe that the employee works only part-time and receives a salary proportional to the number of hours that he actually worked.
Step 3
Just do not forget to attach a personal statement from the employee to such a document, in which he will indicate his desire to work not all day, but only a certain part of the working week. As a rule, such a statement is written one month before the transfer to the light version of the employee's work. If a person who is hired for a position with half the rate will work for a certain amount of time in excess of his norm (for example, during the week as if he is working full time), then his salary should be calculated exactly at the full rate for this period …

In addition, in connection with the transfer or acceptance of a part-time employee, questions often arise about his duties. Here you need to clearly distinguish between responsibilities and scope of work.
