Instructions

Step 1

Records are often made in the work books of employees by mistake. If an error is found, it is necessary to make a record of the invalidation of the entry made by mistake. It is necessary to indicate: "Entry No... is invalid."

Step 2

If, instead of an erroneously entered entry, it is necessary to make another entry, it follows after the words "Entry No... is invalid." make the desired entry.

Step 3

Errors can also be found in other columns of the work book, for example, when the employment record was entered, the date of employment was incorrectly indicated. When making corrections, indicate the correct date of employment in column 3, in the entry itself

Step 4

If an erroneous entry is made in the name of the organization, then after the last entry made in column 3, it is indicated that an error was made in the name of the organization and after that an entry is made with the correct name of the organization. Columns 1 and 2 are not filled in.

Step 5

Part 4 of Art. 61 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation indicates that if the employee did not start work on the day of starting work, then the employer has the right to cancel the employment contract. In this situation, it is possible that the employer has already issued a hiring order and made an entry in the work book. After registering for a job, you must make an entry: "The entry for No... is invalid, the employment contract has been canceled."

Step 6

If the dismissal is recognized as illegal and the employee is reinstated in his previous job, the record of the dismissal in the employee's work record book is invalidated. An entry is made: "Entry No. … is invalid, reinstated at the previous job."

Step 7

In the section of the work book "Information about awards", crossing out inaccurate or incorrect entries is not allowed. Changes to records are made by invalidating them and making the correct records.
