Upon termination of an employment contract with an employee, a corresponding entry is made in the work book. It is introduced on the grounds provided for by article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, with the exception of a few cases when it is necessary to rely on other articles. In order to correctly draw up an entry in the work book when an employee is dismissed, you must adhere to a number of rules.

Instructions

Step 1

An entry in the work book about the dismissal must be made directly on the day of dismissal. Indicate in the first column the next serial number of the record. In the second column, enter the date of dismissal indicated in the order. The last day of work at the enterprise is considered the day of dismissal. In the third column, indicate the reason for the dismissal with a link to the relevant article. In the fourth column, without abbreviations, write the number and date of the order (or other document), on the basis of which the entry is made in the work book. The dismissal record must be certified by an authorized person, the seal of the enterprise and the signature of the employee himself (paragraph 35 of the Rules for maintaining and storing work books).

Step 2

If an employee leaves by agreement of the parties, enter the following entry in the third column of the work book: "Fired by agreement of the parties, paragraph 1 of Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation." Do not allow abbreviations such as TC, RF, Art. and so on, write all words and abbreviations in full. If the term of the employment contract concluded with the employee has expired, write: "Fired due to the expiration of the employment contract, paragraph 2 of Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation." When dismissing an employee of his own free will, make an entry: "Dismissed at his own request, paragraph 3 of Article 77 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation."

Step 3

Use precise wording based on relevant articles, do not add anything extra. Avoid corrections and strikethroughs - they are unacceptable in work books. If you make a mistake, discard the entry and rewrite it correctly. All columns must be filled in. In particular, in the second column, indicate the date in full in the format XX. XX. XXXX, not XX. XX._ _XX.

Step 4

If in Article 77 you do not find grounds that are suitable for your case, use Articles 81 (dismissal at the initiative of the employer) and 83 (termination of an employment contract due to circumstances beyond the control of the parties) of the Labor Code. For example, "Dismissed in connection with the entry into force of the court verdict by which he was sentenced to imprisonment, paragraph 4 of Article 83 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation" or "Dismissed for disclosing a trade secret protected by law, subparagraph" c "of paragraph 6 of Article 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation Federation ". In no other articles of the Labor Code, apart from Articles 77, 81 and 83, grounds for dismissal are no longer contained.
