Step 1

Determine the degree of formality of the receipt. The receipt can be private or official and contain certain details. Regardless of the type of document, at the top of the sheet indicate its name with a capital letter. Next comes the text of the statement itself, under which the date and signature are indicated. Step 2

Start writing a private receipt.
