Step 1
The most important among them is the basis for registration. This can be a certificate of ownership of housing (if you bought an apartment or transferred into ownership on other grounds, first get this document in Rosreestr), an application for registration from the owner or an agreement for the free use of living space, certified by a notary or at the place of filing documents, or others depending on the situation.
When certifying a contract or statement, a notary, an employee of the housing office or the FMS must see the passports of everyone who signs the contract in his presence, a copy of the financial and personal account and an extract from the house book, which are taken from the housing office upon presentation of a passport by any of the tenants who have a residence permit in the apartment, where are you registering.
Step 2
The application form for registration at the place of residence can be obtained from the ZhEK or a subdivision of the Federal Migration Service, downloaded on the portal of public services along with a sample of filling out or filled out on this portal online after authorization.
If you have not discharged from your previous place of residence, it is enough to fill out a tear-off coupon to the application. In the case when removed from registration, attach the address sheet of departure.
If you have not previously had a residence permit in Russia, you do not need a departure sheet. If you had, but you lost the sheet, you are obliged to register you anyway.
Step 3
This completes the procedure. Your passport with a stamp of registration at a new address and, if necessary, an extract from the previous place of residence must be returned within three days.
