In 2008, as an experiment, Goznak began to produce special hologram stickers with dimensions of 3x1.5 cm for work books. According to the intention of the creators, these holographic stickers should increase the degree of protection of the form of this document. If someone tries to peel off the hologram, it will peel off and part of it will remain in place.

Step 1
The presence of a holographic sticker in the work book is not mandatory, it is only an additional tool for protecting the information contained in the work book. This sticker is installed at the discretion of the employer, who issues the work book to the employee. In this case, the forms of work books, as well as inserts without holograms, are valid.
Step 2
The work record book of the established sample, according to article 66 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, is the main document confirming the labor activity and seniority of the employee. The form of work books, the procedure for their production, maintenance, storage, provision of employers with them are established by the federal executive body authorized by the government of the Russian Federation.
Step 3
Paragraph 2 of clause 46 of the "Rules for maintaining and storing work books, making work book forms and providing employers with them" indicates that the work book forms, as well as the insert in it, have an appropriate degree of protection. Moreover, there is no mention of the fact that the holographic sticker must be present in the work record book, neither in the "Rules for maintaining and storing work books, making work book forms and providing employers with them", nor in any other regulatory legal act.
Step 4
Now regarding the question of where to glue the hologram in the work book. You need to stick it on the title page of the work book itself or an insert in it. Where exactly the employer will stick the hologram is irrelevant. You can stick it at your own discretion, for example, on the signature of the owner of the work book, the signature of the person responsible for keeping work books, on the seal of the company that has started the work book on the employee.
