Sometimes it happens that the HR manager promises to call back after the interview and does not call back. Or you think that you passed the interview successfully, but do not see confirmation of this. The results of the interview can be found by phone or the Internet, or, in some cases, by analyzing the course of the interview.
Instructions
Step 1
“We’ll call you” is a common phrase used by HR managers at the end of an interview. As a rule, it is said to everyone and in itself does not mean anything. However, if the manager didn't just tell you "I'll call you", but named the approximate day of the call, mentioned that the management was interested in your candidacy, you can assume that the result is likely to be positive. Moreover, you can think so if, on the whole, you were friendly with you, and you passed the test for professional knowledge successfully.
Step 2
If on the appointed day the HR manager does not call you, this does not mean that you have not passed the interview. The human factor plays an important role here: perhaps he has a lot of things to do or he just forgot about the call. Unfortunately, this does happen. Therefore, in this case, you should wait a day and call the manager yourself. You should not directly ask him about whether you have passed the interview, you can simply ask whether your candidacy has been considered by the management, whether the company has decided on a candidate for the position. If they answer you that they have not yet decided on the candidacy, ask to call you in any case - both positive and negative, or write by e-mail. If there is no call or letter for several days, repeat the call.
Step 3
A sign that you are most likely to be hired by the company is the removal of the vacancy from the job search site after the final interview with you. When you come home, check the site: if the vacancy has not been updated for a long time or has been deleted, then, most likely, the company has decided on at least several final candidates. If the vacancy was recently updated, then most likely the company decided to conduct several more interviews with other people.
Step 4
Some people think that making phone calls to employers on their own may seem overly intrusive. In most cases, employers treat them quite normally, because they understand perfectly well that job seekers are interested in the job. In addition, not all HR managers notify candidates that they have not passed the interview. Thus, candidates often wait in vain for results by rejecting other proposals. In order not to get into such situations, it is better to find out the results of the interview as soon as possible.
