You put a lot of effort into finding a job: making inquiries, sending out resumes, asking friends. And then the call rings: you are invited for an interview. This means that your resume has made a good impression on the potential employer. The chance of being accepted for a new job has increased significantly. The last and very important stage remains - the very interview at which you have to present yourself from the best side. So how should you behave, how to describe your talents, achievements, personal qualities, so that you are almost certainly accepted?
Instructions
Step 1
Try to be humble but dignified during the interview. Yes, you are now actually acting as a supplicant. But do not beg for alms, but offer your work, your abilities, your readiness to bring benefit and profit to this organization. Therefore, behave like a polite, well-mannered person who knows his own worth.
Step 2
Remain yourself. Be extremely honest when talking about yourself. Do not try to ascribe to yourself non-existent achievements, knowledge that you really do not have. Believe me, an experienced employer will either immediately feel the lie, or if you are hired, your incompetence in this or that matter will very soon become clear to him. How, after that, he will relate to the braggart and the deceiver is a purely rhetorical question that does not require explanation.
Step 3
Speak briefly, clearly, only to the point. When it comes to your accomplishments in your previous job, try to be as specific as possible. For example, “So many new customers were attracted” or “Profit increased by such and such amount”. If, with your direct participation, new projects have been implemented, new activities have been introduced - be sure to tell us about it.
Step 4
Any fact that applies to you personally, interpret in your favor. For example, if you are still young and not too experienced, when talking about yourself, develop the potential anxiety of a potential employer with such arguments: “I am full of strength, energetic, I have good health, I am ready to work hard and hard, while learning something that is not yet I know!"
Step 5
If you are a person of mature age, focus on the experience gained, the connections you have gained, acquaintances, the ability to understand people, find a common language with them, and negotiate. This is very important. In addition, any employer knows that a person who is not of his first youth usually values service very much; after all, with age, finding a good job, alas, becomes more and more difficult.
Step 6
Of course, even the closest adherence to these tips does not guarantee that you will certainly be hired. The final decision in any case remains with the management. But the chance of getting a positive answer will be very high.
