It is not necessary to have at hand a whole arsenal of technical means in order to lace up a document. A minimal skill and a few minutes of time is enough.

It is necessary

  • - paper clips;
  • - awl;
  • - thick needle;
  • - threads;
  • - glue;
  • - a piece of paper, a pen.

Instructions

Step 1

Secure the document with a paper clip. For reliability, do this in several places.

Step 2

Take an awl and make three holes on the fold of the document, 2-3 centimeters away from the edge of the document. The holes should be evenly distributed along the fold, that is, the distances between them should be approximately equal. If the document is not very thick, then instead of an awl it is quite possible to do with a thick needle.

Step 3

Thread the needle through two strands and tie a knot at the end. Sew two large stitches in the three holes you made. Repeat the stitches several times for strength. Then cut the threads with the needle on the back of the document. Leave the ends of the thread about 5 centimeters long.

Step 4

Tie the ends of the threads into a strong knot. Take a piece of paper about 2 by 5 centimeters in size and glue it to the loose ends of the threads. Remove the paper clips.

Step 5

Write on a piece of paper: "laced, numbered, number of pages." Remember to stamp your organization on the fold.
