If you want to organize documents by income and expenses for the reporting period, you can lace them up, thus giving them a finished look. Lacing documents into a book is not difficult. All you need is some free time.
Necessary
Awl, nylon thread, hook, file, drill
Instructions
Step 1
To keep your future income book looking proper, prepare a title page and a final page for it. It is desirable that these sheets be made of paper that is harder than the material of the documents themselves. The best option for this purpose would be thin cardboard.
Step 2
Now you need to organize all documents according to certain criteria. After the material is ready to be hemmed, place it between the title page and the end sheet, then straighten the papers. You should also re-check that all documents are stacked in the correct order. Otherwise, you will have to re-flash the pages of the book, and this is far from the most pleasant job.
Step 3
For a bunch of A4 sheets, four holes along the end of the sheet will be enough for you. These holes can be made using an ordinary awl. Once you have pierced all the sheets, expand the holes with a file (round file).
Step 4
Thread a nylon thread through each hole using a crochet hook. The thread must pass through each hole at least five times (thus, the maximum degree of reliability of the bundle is achieved). After that, you need to tie a string to prevent the book from scattering later on.
Step 5
It should be noted that the awl may not always come to your rescue. For example, in the case when you need to sew a huge pile of sheets. In such situations, you can use a drill. When drilling, try to hold the sheets as tightly as possible. It is not necessary to process the resulting holes with a file.
