In accordance with the law of the Russian Federation, criminal liability is considered fully realized after the conviction has been cleared. And in this case, there are almost no obstacles to employment. However, in practice, everything is completely different. How to find a way out in this situation?
Instructions
Step 1
Contact your local job center. Most likely, not too prestigious vacancies will be offered here. However, by getting at least some kind of job, you can prove your reliability and gain new experience. In this way, a gap in seniority can be closed, which also often worries employers. Even if you cannot find a job right away, you can take free courses and receive unemployment benefits.
Step 2
If you got a non-core job, first of all try to establish yourself as a good employee, without thinking too much about payment. Later, you can try to find either a job in your specialty, or continue to build a career here. In any case, positive recommendations will play an important role.
Step 3
Look for small private firms. Here, employees are not scrutinized so closely. However, if they ask: “Have you been brought to criminal responsibility in the past?”, You should not deceive. Because if the truth is later revealed, it will only damage your employee image. It is better to explain what exactly the criminal record was for. Perhaps the employer will consider that such an article does not interfere with the position for which you are applying.
Step 4
Seek help from family and friends. Perhaps they will be able to recommend you for a suitable position to their friends. If close people can vouch for you, this will be a big plus in the eyes of the employer.
Step 5
Register as an individual entrepreneur and engage in private entrepreneurship. Most likely, you have some skills that will allow you to do this.
Step 6
Do not waste time looking for work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, FSB and other structures and divisions related to security. They will not be accepted here even if the criminal record has been canceled. You will not be able to get a job in an educational or medical institution if your criminal record has not been cleared, and the crime itself was associated with an encroachment on human life and health, or with previous medical or educational activities.
