Instructions

Step 1

Announce in advance about downtime and its deadlines to the entire workforce of the enterprise or those who will need to suspend work. Please note that good reasons are needed to suspend a business. These usually include equipment malfunction or planned replacement, financial and economic difficulties, delays in orders or required materials, etc. Depending on the urgency of the suspension of production, notify about it 1-2 weeks, a few days before the downtime or on the eve of it.

Step 2

Require a timely report from employees of the enterprise about the detected malfunctions in the operation of equipment, financial problems and other troubles in connection with which downtime may be required. You can report this using a memo or a report. If employees do not take this with due attention, the manager has the right to impose disciplinary action on them or terminate the employment relationship.

Step 3

Start issuing the order as soon as all employees are notified of the downtime. Inform the reasons for which the temporary suspension of the enterprise is planned, the time of the beginning and the end of the downtime. Specify the specifics of work during downtime, whether employees will be part-time in activities or not. Please note that during this period of time, employees must be paid at least 2/3 of the average annual earnings. Familiarize everyone with the order against receipt.

Step 4

Start a report card according to the unified form No. T-12 or No. T-13 for downtime. Indicate the code of the reason for downtime in the working hours column: 31 or "RP" (due to the employer's fault), 33 or "VP" (due to the employee's fault), 32 or "NP" (for independent reasons). Remember that the period of temporary suspension of the work of the enterprise cannot exceed 6 months.
