Instructions

Step 1

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who have seniority and are marked with insignia are classified as veterans of the civil service in accordance with Article 6 of the Federal Law "On Veterans" and have the right to lifelong maintenance and care of the state. For these citizens, a whole system of benefits and payments has been developed. Moreover, in addition to very specific material benefits, measures of non-material support are also envisaged, for example: the creation of a council of veterans, propaganda through the media of respect for veterans.

Step 2

Social protection measures (Article 13) provide for the payment of pensions and benefits, monthly additional payments for the period of employment after retirement, provision of housing and benefits for its maintenance, benefits for utility bills. The clause of the Law providing for the provision of prostheses became invalid in 2008, in accordance with the new legislative act N 122-FZ. When duplicating some type of social security, except in special cases, the choice of the only reason for payment remains with the veteran.

Step 3

Benefits for veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are listed in the parts of the law "On social guarantees for employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation." Pensions are accrued (from 1.01.2012) taking into account the salary in the last position held, rank, length of service (50% increment for the first 20 years of service and 3% for each subsequent one) with the application of the regional coefficient to the aggregate amount. Since 2013, a recalculation has been made (taking into account the annual mark-up (2%), the inflation rate (at least 2%), the increase in monetary allowances (2.05%)), which amounted to 7.5% of the mark-up.

Step 4

Pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (from 1.01.2012) have the right to redeem vouchers to departmental health institutions for 25%, and a member of his family (wife or minor child) for 50% of the total cost, and for full payment of the road (within the Russian Federation) for both (except for a separately agreed category of employees: labor discipline violators, etc., as well as employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other departments).

Step 5

Pensioners with more than 20 calendar years of service are still eligible for property tax compensation, but do not have benefits (including 50%) when paying for utilities, telephone, living space and land tax.

Step 6

The right to receive an annual allowance for minor children (for non-working pensioners) remains in force.

Step 7

Families receiving payments for the loss of the breadwinner of the deceased, upon execution, have the right to receive an allowance for summer children's recreation, as well as social guarantees in the form of partial compensation when paying for stationary telephones, utilities and housing. Badly needy non-working pensioners (as well as families who have lost their breadwinner) have the right to apply in their district for additional financial assistance.

Step 8

Providing a copy of the death certificate and a form 33 certificate entitles the family of the deceased to compensation for funeral expenses and travel to the burial place.
