Mom's exit from parental leave is often accompanied by various kinds of worries and anxieties: with whom to leave the child, how will relations in the team develop, whether the woman has a job, what will be the salary upon leaving, and so on.
Most women, after long maternity leave, worry about losing their jobs and skills. The Labor Code of the Russian Federation provides for parental leave, which consists of two parts: maternity leave up to one and a half years and from one and a half to three.
Each mother can choose for herself how long she will be at home and be with her baby. Most mothers stay at home until the child reaches the age of 2 to 3 years. It is at this age that the child can be sent to the nursery group of a preschool institution. According to psychologists, the ideal age for sending a child to kindergarten is two and a half years, at this age it is easier for a child to adapt to a new team and a change in regime. In addition to the fact that the baby needs to be prepared for going to kindergarten, the mother needs to be psychologically prepared for going to work. To minimize the stress of going to work after maternity leave, there are a few guidelines to follow:
- while on maternity leave, it is advisable to communicate with colleagues at work from time to time, periodically visit them or invite them to your place, it is not forbidden to run to work for half an hour. If you follow this advice, your return to work will be almost painless;
- before leaving the decree, it is necessary to restore in memory all the knowledge and skills needed at the workplace;
- in order to eliminate the anxiety of the baby during the absence of the mother, because he will have to be left in the garden, with a nanny, grandmother or with someone close, it is necessary to quietly and briefly leave the house and let the child get used to a new person, etc. If the child goes to a preschool institution, then you need to devote a couple of weeks to trips to the kindergarten and back, because at first you won't leave your baby in the garden for more than a couple of hours. Every day you need to increase the time spent in the garden, thus, the stress for the child will be minimized.
