The stay of Ukrainian citizens on the territory of Russia is regulated by migration legislation. In order to legalize the stay of a Ukrainian, it is necessary to go through the process of temporary registration at the place of residence of the host country.
Necessary
- - a photocopy of the visitor's passport of Ukraine;
- - a photocopy of the passport of the owner of the home where the Ukrainian is staying;
- - migration card;
- - a document on the basis of which the registration of a citizen of Ukraine is made (lease agreement).
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the local police officer at the place of registration of a guest from Ukraine with a statement that you want to register him at the place of your residence.
Step 2
Wait for the adoption of a positive decision and the resolution of the district police officer on the application.
Step 3
Contact the district office of the Office of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) with an application for registration of a citizen of Ukraine, endorsed by the internal affairs bodies. Submit copies of your passport and the guest's passport with your application. If he lives on your living space on the terms of its lease, provide an apartment lease agreement. A Ukrainian is also obliged to provide a migration card filled in and signed by the federal migration service when passing the state border of Russia.
Step 4
Wait for the decision of the regional FMS. It is issued within three working days.
Step 5
After a positive decision regarding the stay of a Ukrainian on the territory of Russia, you will receive a certificate of temporary registration of a citizen of Ukraine.
Step 6
Contact the district office of the Unified Clearing Information Center with an application for amending the number of people living in your living space. It will record the fact of temporary registration of a citizen of Ukraine and recalculate utility bills.
