A work permit for citizens of Ukraine is issued according to a simplified procedure. It is drawn up by the body of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) of the region where it is planned to carry out labor activities. You should know that the permit indicates the region of employment. In other regions, activities will be declared illegal. If a citizen of Ukraine will work in several regions, a work permit is issued throughout Russia.

Instructions

Step 1

Apply for work permits as a citizen of Ukraine on your own, as often citizens from the CIS countries arrive in the Russian Federation hoping to get a job without having an invitation from a company or organization. In the latter case, when a citizen of Ukraine comes to the Russian Federation to work in a certain organization, then the employer can deal with the registration. After obtaining permission, the employee can be enrolled in the staff of the employer's organization. When the employer accepts a citizen of Ukraine with a work permit, he notifies the territorial body of the Federal Migration Service about the conclusion of an employment contract with a foreign specialist. This procedure is also carried out in the event of termination of an employment contract with a citizen of Ukraine.

Step 2

Submit the package of documents to the territorial body of the FMS. The list of documents when applying for a work permit is determined by the legislation of Russia, namely: a photocopy of all pages of a civil passport, their notarized translation, if the entries are not made in Russian. The passport must be valid and must not expire earlier than six months after the expiry of the work permit. This permission can be obtained by a citizen of Ukraine who has reached the age of 18, who has not been deported and has no criminal or administrative offenses.

Step 3

Also provide the FMS with a photocopy of your migration card, a photocopy of your arrival notification, two photographs, a medical certificate issued based on the results of HIV and infectious diseases testing. A citizen of Ukraine can submit a medical certificate within a month from the date of obtaining a work permit. In addition, fill out a personal application and attach documents confirming the payment of the state duty. If the employer is engaged in the issuance of a work permit, he must submit to the territorial body of the FMS: an application from himself, a list of citizens whom he intends to hire, and a letter of guarantee.

Step 4

Register for migration registration for a period of three months. This must be done within three days of arrival. Get a migration card. Registration for migration registration takes place within one or two days. After that, get a work permit, which is a plastic card. It is issued by the territorial body of the FMS and legalizes the labor relations of a foreign citizen on the territory of Russia. After that, register for migration for the period of validity of the work permit. This should be done at the territorial body of the FMS at the place of the employer's office. After that, a citizen of Ukraine will have a passport, a work permit, a migration card, a valid notification of registration with the migration department.
