Step 1
Visit the labor exchange. Take the following documents with you: passport, work book (if you have one), educational documents: certificate, diploma, certificates of completion of various courses, certificate of average salary for the last 3 months.
Step 2
Register with an employment center. To do this, among other documents, you will need to indicate the number of the current account of the Savings Bank, to which you will transfer your monthly allowance.
In the first three months, 75% of the average monthly earnings are paid, in the next 4 months - 60%, then - in the amount of 40% of the earnings. Previously unemployed citizens are paid the minimum amount of unemployment benefits. The allowance is not paid to people receiving a pension, and you also do not have to be an individual entrepreneur.
Not registered: pensioners; persons under the age of 16; persons who refused two options for suitable work within 10 days from the date of registration; persons looking for a job for the first time and without education, at the same time, who refused two proposed job options within 10 days from the date of application.
Deregistration also occurs in case of failure to appear on the set day at the employment center (if absenteeism was committed without a good reason).
When registering, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire, where you will have to indicate reliable information about yourself.
Step 3
Think about what requirements you have for the place of your future work. Clearly formulate your wishes for the exchange inspector regarding the desired conditions for future work (think about the level of salary that you would like to receive, about the work schedule, etc.).

Participate in the community service that the exchange may offer you. In addition to earning extra money, this type of activity will help you stay in working shape and not get depressed.
Step 5
Agree to retraining courses if you have a rare profession that is not in demand at the moment.

Check out the information on the stands and information desks located in the lobby of the labor exchange. Information about vacancies, as a rule, is presented on them quite widely. Many labor exchanges are equipped with modern technology: electronic displays with scrolling text, terminals that give information about various vacancies.
Step 7
Attend job fairs organized by job exchanges on certain days. At such fairs there are directly employers with whom you can communicate directly, ask questions that interest you and, if supply and demand coincide, get a job.
