Necessary

  • - the passport;
  • - income statement in the form of the Employment Center;
  • - education document;
  • - employment history.

Instructions

Step 1

Find out the address of your local Employment Center. Before collecting documents, go there. You will be told which package of papers you will have to bring to your appointment.

Step 2

Contact the accounting department of the company where you worked. Ask for a certificate of income for the last three months for the Employment Center. Unfortunately, many accountants make mistakes in this document. For example, working hours are calculated incorrectly, they forget to take into account sick leave. You may need to redo your income statement several times.

Step 3

Check the office hours of the District Center. Come early, you will need to take a queue - live or electronic, depending on the rules of the particular organization. In addition to a certificate of income, you will need a passport, education document and work book.

Step 4

During the appointment, the employee will check the presence of all documents and their authenticity. The income indicated in your certificate will be calculated, and if an error is found in the document, you will have to get a new one. The employee will personally contact the chief accountant of your company and explain his requirements to him. Find out the phone number of the accounting department in advance, so you will save time.

Step 5

Is your enterprise located in another city or has it been completely closed, and you cannot receive a certificate of income? You will still be registered, but unemployment benefits will be minimal - 850 rubles (excluding the regional coefficient).

Step 6

If all documents are in order, you will be assigned a date for your next visit - usually in two weeks. If during this time you have not found suitable vacancies in the Center's database, you will be officially recognized as unemployed. Apply for a savings account or a Sberbank social card - you will receive unemployment benefits on it. The amount depends on the income for the last three months. The maximum you can count on is 4900 rubles (plus the regional coefficient).

Step 7

In addition to the selection of vacancies, the Employment Center can help with retraining. In the training center, you can learn a variety of professions - from a florist to a milling cutter. The list will be offered upon request. During the study, the allowance is not paid, but a scholarship is issued.

Step 8

You can be on the labor exchange for a year. After that, the payment of benefits stops. However, you can still view vacancies and go to interviews, but on your own, without referrals from a specialist.
