In the process of labor relations, some employers are forced to impose additional duties on employees, for example, in the temporary absence of the main employee. According to the Labor Code, the combination of positions should be paid in an increased amount, that is, there should be an additional payment to the basic earnings.
Instructions
Step 1
Combining is the imposition of additional responsibilities, and as a result, an increase in the employee's salary. Based on this, we can conclude that there is a change in the terms of the employment contract. According to Russian law, when changing the clauses of a legal document, an additional agreement must be drawn up. In the agreement, write down all the additional duties assigned, the amount of the additional payment and the time of replacement.
Step 2
The assignment of duties can only take place with the written consent of the employee himself. Issue a notice in his name, indicate the time of replacement and job responsibilities.
Step 3
The amount of payment is established by the parties and is fixed in a supplementary agreement and an order on combining positions. You can determine the additional payment as follows: the official salary of the replaced employee (excluding the allowance, bonus, etc.) is added to the actual salary of the employee. You can also set a bonus as a percentage of your salary.
Step 4
If the payment is piece-rate, then its size is calculated based on the amount of work performed or services rendered. In this case, you just have to set a tariff rate for one unit of production. Fix all these conditions in a supplementary agreement.
Step 5
A substitute employee can also receive a bonus for conscientious performance of additional job duties. To do this, add it to the official salary. The amount of the bonus must be specified in the collective bargaining agreement or agreement.
