Instructions

Step 1

Determine eligibility for vacation. When 6 months have passed since hiring, you can take a break. If you want to leave early, then, according to the Labor Code, you must fit into one of the categories (pregnant women, minors, etc.). If you have been working for several years, then go to rest in accordance with the schedule at any time of the year.

Step 2

Calculate the required number of days. Once a year, each employee is entitled to a paid leave of 28 calendar days. For employees working in certain areas of activity, such as law enforcement (30 days), education (56 days) and others, the days of annual rest are increased according to the laws in these industries. You also have the right to divide it into several parts so that the first part of the vacation is at least 14 calendar days. Take the rest of the days at your discretion at once or dividing them into several parts.

Step 3

Follow the procedure for granting leave According to the schedule, the employee receives a notification two weeks before the start. Write an application addressed to the director and leave to rest from the specified date. Holiday pay is paid no later than 3 days before the start of the holiday. If the company does not comply with the entire procedure for its provision and accrual of vacation pay, use it in another more convenient period.

Step 4

Determine the duration of the vacation It is calculated in calendar days, that is, it will include weekends. But the rest is automatically extended if it falls on holidays (only those that are defined by the state as "red days of the calendar"). Do not include these days in the calculation of vacation pay. If you get sick while on vacation, do not forget to take a sick leave, as these days the vacation is interrupted. In this case, take the rest of the days at any other time.

Step 5

Calculate Average Earnings Calculate by summing your income for the last 12 months prior to vacation. This amount does not include vacation payments, material assistance, sick leave payments, and others. Divide this amount by the number of days worked per year. So calculate the amount of 1 day of rest. If you have been working for less than a year, then take into account only the months worked. If at the enterprise during this time the level of wages increased for all employees, then multiply the amount of income by the percentage of the increase. Multiply the amount received for one day by the number of vacation days.
