The calculation of staffing requirements is necessary to determine the number of vacancies in the company. This indicator serves to further expand the organizational structure. The method for calculating it was developed around 1970-1980 to determine the standards for the number in the sectors of the national economy.
Necessary
- - staffing table;
- - the calendar;
- - calculator;
- - normative act 1970-1980;
- - personnel documents.
Instructions
Step 1
It will be most effective to apply the method of determining the standards for the number of employees at the enterprise, by determining the average number of employees. Make a table. In the first column, write down the days of the month, in the second - indicate the number of specialists registered at the enterprise for each day of a particular month.
Step 2
Please note that the average number of staff includes all employees working under labor contracts, employees who are on basic vacation, business trip or sick leave. It is not necessary to include specialists who work under civil law contracts, women who are on parental leave or maternity leave, as well as employees who wrote a letter of resignation.
Step 3
Calculate the average monthly headcount. To do this, add up the number of employees for each day of the month. Then divide your result by 30 (the average number of calendar days in a month).
Step 4
Repeat the above procedure for each month of the past year, that is, for the period January-December. Add the results together and divide 12 (the number of months in a year). Thus, you will find the average headcount.
Step 5
Determine your monthly production. To do this, add the amount of funds for which the products (parts) were manufactured for each month of the calendar year and divide by 12.
Step 6
Determine the standard for the number of personnel. Use an indicator that was set at prices from the 70s of the 20th century. No such regulations are currently being developed by the government. Although for each sector of the economy its own indicator should be developed, taking into account inflation.
Step 7
But in the method of determining the need for personnel, the inflation rate is provided. In practice, you can take a value of 50 for it. This corrective indicator is necessary in order to correct the result obtained at the established ruble exchange rate on the world market.
Step 8
Multiply the average number of employees by the production volume in millions of rubles and by the correction factor. Thus, you get the value of the staffing requirement.
