Step 1
Application form. You can get the form at the labor exchange itself and fill it out before submitting the documents. A citizen who applies to the exchange fills out an application with his own hand and legibly, indicates in it all the required information, puts the date and signature.
Step 2
Passport or identity document. If the identity document does not contain citizenship, you must bring a document of citizenship. Foreign citizens will also need a passport, or an identity card and citizenship, as well as a residence permit, only with it foreigners can expect to receive benefits. In the event that the documents are drawn up in a foreign language, their translation into Russian must be certified by a notary.
Step 3
Employment book or employment contract, contract from the last place of work. These documents do not need to be brought only to persons who are looking for a job for the first time.

Diploma, certificate of completed courses and other documents that show professional qualifications.
Step 5
Help on the 2-NDFL form for the last 3 months of work in the last place. This certificate shows what kind of wages the citizen received; the calculation of unemployment benefits depends on this amount for him. Usually, such a certificate is issued immediately upon dismissal, but if not, you will have to order it in advance from an accountant or from the personnel department. A certificate should be submitted only if a year has not passed since the date of dismissal.

In addition to these documents, persons with disabilities submit a rehabilitation program. Military or police officers dismissed from service - military ID and an extract from the order of dismissal.
Step 8
When an organization is liquidated, the founders need to bring documents on the liquidation of the company, or documents on the withdrawal from the founders. All these documents must be requested from the Federal Tax Service. Employees of entrepreneurs who have not drawn up work books should request an employment contract from employers with a mark on the payment of insurance premiums.

Part-time and part-time students should take a certificate of study from the educational institution. A new certificate is submitted to the employment service twice a year: in February and September.

Internally displaced persons cannot do without a certificate of forced resettlement, as well as without a certificate of registration at the place of stay.
